We have reconceptualized carbon neutral printing

Worldwide, we have certified more than 1,000 printing companies. With our experience from cooperation with printing companies of all sizes with different print processes in all major countries and with our expert knowledge, we have anonymized and completely re-analysed the collected data. We wanted to know how far apart printing works lie in the evaluation of CO2 emissions in comparable printed items. Over several months, our experts in carbon neutral printing have viewed, compared, calculated and recompiled all data. The result - the CO2 emissions from printing works broken down into individual printed items are considerably different when companies are compared across borders or even continents. If only Europe is considered, the data are much more stable and comparable - and this consistently over all printing processes

Classic approach - freshly thought out

With this knowledge we were able to get to work on developing a new, suitable online solution for you with which you need simply specify the paper weight and the type of the paper only. We do away with the lock, stock and barrel approach which, unfortunately, has very firmly embedded itself in the voluntary offset industry. We uncover the voodoo and orientate ourselves to the facts. And we begin to be honest with ourselves
This insight situation raises the following question: How can we actually justify our demands placed on printing works to have to go through a certification process in order to be allowed to supply carbon neutral print items for customers? Especially - and we should always bear this in mind - as we are talking about voluntary involvement in climate protection. From a large number of prior analyses, however, we are in a position to be able to very accurately predict where and at what percentage CO2 will occur in the production of a printed item. There is only one justification for this - the same old story, the sticking to old habits and the utter disregard of market needs.

But be careful!

Online applications with monthly flat charges operate per se in line with the market. Whoever requires help, service, corrections, special variants, training, rebooking, collective numbers, annual reports, special certificates and much more, buys these important services via the monthly flat fee. The annual CO2 footprint, too, in many applications is already included in the price for the monthly flat rate. This means that all those printing companies who are seriously and sustainably concerned with their CO2 emissions and wish to derive an advantage from this, simply because they do more than the others, who take more responsibility and seriously deal with reduction will profit over the long term and be rewarded by the market. More information about online applications of carbon neutral printing can be found here. .

Not so quick with "CO2 footprint? I don't need it"

You are in competition and you must print ever more quickly in ever greater numbers for ever lower prices. This works so long as you keep an eye on your costs and cost drivers. The CO2 footprint - if it is made and evaluated properly - can help and support you in the planning of new investment or in operating material evaluation. In addition - there are definitely customers and customer groups which are oriented towards sustainability and resource-saving processing. If you would like to find out more about this new process, request our whitepaper, here, and inform yourself in more detail

Visible commitment

To demonstrate your commitment to the climate and social issues, you receive a logo with a tracking number which you can apply to your print items. In addition, a certificate confirms in which climate protection project you have offset.

Social
added value

Rarely have we had it as good as in the last few years. The economy is booming and many more companies are recording respectable figures in the black. Is this not a good point in time to involve yourself in social issues somewhat more than in the past? Exactly! And because we know your answer: Together we will give something back to those who don't have it so good

Everyone can profit

With every print contract you supply carbon neutral via this online portal, €2.50 flow automatically and without more ado to a non-profit or social organization.
And the best of it is - you can freely choose this organization. You alone decide which non-governmental organization we may be permitted to support for you.

For all those who do not wish to or cannot decide: Every month we choose a different organization. If you do not specifically place a tick mark, the "organization of the month" receives the €2.50

What does carbon neutrality mean?

Keeping the balance, mutual neutralization. Carbon neutral are those processes which do not change the balance of the atmosphere. An even balance between giving and taking. Carbon neutral are those products, services or companies as a whole, which after the determination of the individual CO2 balances offset all emissions.

carbon neutrality is the environmental policy objective of not influencing the climate through production and consumption. Behind this is the assumption that the climate system can buffer a certain amount of greenhouse gas emissions without it having significant effects on the climate. Today, carbon neutrality is a mark of quality.
Carbon neutral companies, for example, take responsibility for people and the environment. Many companies have firmly established carbon neutrality in their environmental directives.

"Our climate protection projects are not meant for the purchase of exemption from something. Our climate protection projects work in a very direct way in the fight against climate change, for the improvement of the living conditions of many people and the protection of our environment."

Andreas Weckwert, Managing Director, natureOffice GmbH

Our climate protection project Wood-Mix. Perfectly tailored to your needs.

With our Wood-Mix Portfolio portfolio we combine all possible forms of forest preservation and forest protection. In Africa, and also in South America, vast areas of the oldest forests are faced with overexploitation if we do not finally start to involve ourselves in their protection.

Forest projects, especially REDD+ projects serve the purpose of the financing of large-scale protective measures in the tropical rain forests. Only through active protection against the irretrievable destruction of thousands of square kilometres of forest can we preserve these valuable assets in our carbon footprint. With our Wald-Mix you support the protection of forests in delicate tropical rain forests, protection against the extinction of many forms of life and the protection of the green lungs of this earth.

Our process

The natureOffice process for carbon neutral printed products enables you to determine the CO2 emissions, by the simple means of the entry of the paper weight, occurring in and around the printing process. Here alone the incidental emissions for the entire printing process can be calculated. For the calculation, we fall back on our many years of experience and evaluations in the most varied of production sites from all over Europe.
The calculation of the emissions is based on empirical values from printing works with the most varied of printing processes and sizes of companies, as well as comparison with scientific databases. For additional reliability, sample variances are compensated by a safety factor, so that every case is overcompensated. All processes for carbon neutral printing offer a different process depth up to ISO Standard 16759. Choose a process which best supports your operations and the needs of your customers.
